Review: Russian River Sanctification (Bottle)
Another beer form Public House in La Jolla, and another simply phenomenal ale. Sanctification uses Brett yeast, resulting in an incredibly refreshing sour ale. Lemon and lime citrus sours dominate, with some funky cabbage, candied sugars, and a pasty white wine finish that dries the palate and creates a great depth and complexity to the beer. Sour blondes rarely get much better than this.
