Review: Great Divide Espresso Oak Aged Yeti (Bottle)
Wow this in a phenomenal beer. There’s big notes of roasted coffee that rivals any coffee shop in town (seriously why drink coffee, when you can drink coffee and beer?…. and get drunk!). There’s also some great vanilla/cookie dough sweetness that is absolutely essential for rounding out the flavors, a task that many coffee stouts fail to achieve. I’ll attribute the sweetness to the oak chips in part, so credit Great Divide for that call. What can I say, this is one of the best stouts you can find, and isn’t too far from perfection.
